Looking forward to seeing everyone! I've been in AZ since '79, so I guess it's home - my blood is way thinner than it used to be. Sue and I married almost 3 years ago (took me a second try to get this marriage thing right!). Sue's a Chemical Engineer and Colorado native doing construction management and I'm a partner in a small Architecture firm in Phoenix doing commercial, sports and large residential. We still try to get to the mountains (AZ or CO) and ski each year and like to bag a 14er each year (started with Mt. Elbert on our Honeymoon!) Looking forward to cooling off in the mountain air - blood may be thin but it's still damn hot here! It's also been fun seeing how many of us live here in the desert! See you all soon!

Short version: Spent time in the mortgage business, was the business manager for Historic Denver, survived a little bit of politics as the President of Congress Park Neighbors, renovated a 10,000 sq ft Denver firehouse into our home, sold that after 13 years and some really big utility billsand renovated another house 6 blocks away. built a log cabin on 40 acres in Jackson County (any one know where Walden is?) and am currently dragging my outdated computer skills into the 21st century by showing companies how to configure the mortgage software they just bought.

It was great to see so many of you last night at Rivers! It amazes me how we all look like we did so many years ago - just taller with a few wrinkles and some gray hair.
Life in the last 10 years has been FULL. The accomplishment that stands out for me is hiking up Kilimajaro with my son. A gentle, giant mountain. My two kids are both grown - 26 and 24. It took some time to get use to the empty nest thing - and somehow I ended up with this really cute, loveable little dog :) My daughter married an Englishman - so now I am called "Mum" and "Mom". Life is sweet. I am still teaching - 1st grade in Carbondale. Road biking still is my passion - so if anyone is up for a ride let me know.
